Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 Base Annual Salary (commensurate with experience)

Job Summary:

As a Client Success Manager, you will oversee a team of Client Relationship Managers responsible for managing B2B2C client relationships. You will lead the execution of client success initiatives across your team and ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery aligned with client needs and business outcomes. This role requires a candidate with demonstrated success in client relationship management and a solid background in accounting and/or tax services.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead, support, and coach a support team of Client Relationship Managers responsible for guiding partner clients from job submission through e-filing.
  • Provide direct reports with clear expectations, providing regular feedback, and foster a collaborative, accountable team environment aligned with organizational goals.
  • Collaborate closely with the Partner Experience team and internal stakeholders to deliver a seamless, consistent client journey.
  • Establish and continuously improve team workflows, Standard Operating Procedures, and processes to ensure seasonal readiness and operational efficiency.
  • Monitor Key Performance Indicators, set performance goals, and drive accountability through regular check-ins and performance reviews.
  • Serve as the escalation point for high-priority customer issues, driving resolution and ensuring partner satisfaction.
  • Develop and manage reporting frameworks, while identifying trends and opportunities to improve service quality and support account growth.


Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field and a minimum of 3–5 years of client success, account management, or relationship management experience – preferably in tech, SaaS, finance, or tax.
  • 2+ years proven understanding of tax, accounting and/or financial knowledge and concepts is required. CPA or accounting certification is a plus but not required.
  • Experience managing or mentoring others, with a preference for prior formal team leadership.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage client expectations, resolve conflicts, and deliver measurable results.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in CRMs and customer success platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce).
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and results-oriented.
  • Flexibility to work occasional nights and weekends
